Another one was saved

An Auckland family visit fro x-mas and a long drive back to mid North island required a rest stop.
Unfortunately something went wrong in those 5 minutes of break and a precious engagement ring flew into the curb :-(

Lucky for the owner they called the best NZ treasure hunter;-) (cmon guys, give me some credit :-D )

 After a brief search got it and reunited !

Last 3 weeks of Treasure Hunting Around NZ

Had a pretty good run in the past 3 weeks,.
My last 3 "Dirt Fishing" Hunts in November for coins before ground dried out.
Got over 50$ in coins, couple of silver, Junk ring and some other cool stuff: Photos below:

And as for the beach trips,

The cool trip we had was to Cathedral Cove New Zealand:  

Unfortunately i got only Coins and junk chain, Olga was lucky with a silver ring :-)

Other outings were way more rewarding: 

- Just A Tungsten Ring and a Junker,

- Another outing, 2 Junkers.....

- Yeha, a better find, 22ct Om Pendant :-)

 - Another outign with 2 Junkers and a silver bracelet. And that Chain... Looked so good for a seconds.... Plated

- Couple fo silver rings, silver bracelet, and semi dead kinetic watch :-)

Now Coming best of the best stuff:

- Pretty cool brass Valve of some sort and a small (2.34g) 18 ring :-)

-One of  best days with 2 gold, platinum and a silver !

But The best day and THE BEST Find  is This one: 

The very cool 9999 Pure gold Ring!

Saturday Magic- Winning draft and winning recovery !

Just finished my Saturday Draft (Battle for Zendikar) and was on my way home when received call for a lost ring.

Quick Run home, grab my gear and was on the way to Local beach :

From Dawn till Dusk - 2 Beaches, 2 parks

Auckland Morning looks like this:

Day:1,
1 hour park hunt for my usual 10$+1 Treasure (silver or gold item is treasure), so i stop once i get  my lot :

Day 2 . beach

Unlucky visit to a desired beach (bad weather) forsed to miss half the tide time and go to another beach, result was pretty poor: 

Jsut a Junk ring and a blink earring

Day 3:  Double Hart day at the Park while coin shooting

This was a very exciting day! i was in my 1st hour and already around 24$, but no treasure, when a small Silver Hart pendant popped out, so i decided to finish the hunt with 30$ mark - Glad i did!

As before i hit my 30$ i got an amazing 15 ct Gold locket with diamond! 

Very happy i sniped couple more coins to get to 30$ and left :-)

Day 4 - back to beach

Decided to try out  random beach today, not many targets and all very VERY VERY deep.

but got lucky  :-0)

2 9ct rings and a junker., 1st one is just over 1 ram :-( so tiny....

Why Knot?

Another beautiful Day at the beach. Very hard work and after 2 days and 3 tides my shoulders are really sour - Freaking weight of ATX is killing sometimes :-(

But after all the hassle- goodies come out :-)

Octo Ring Monday

Had a chance to catch double tide - 6 am and 6 PM  :-)

Morning tide was Wet and dry sand and yielded soem chance and 5  Junk Rings, While  after several hours in the evening i got home with 3 Silver rings and a  silver earring - really was hoping for a gold in the evening, but none was found :-(
