2013 Hunt #2 : Long Bay, chasing first gold

Morning, good day, good evening, where ever you are :-)

According to NZ herald thread (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10856953) there were over 25 000 people at the beach,

So,Brett and i went 4 am for low tide ..... and left 10 am
6hours ... nothing... :-(

My best find is the below junk Frankenstein Ring

    I had similar result at another beach. A couple of sinkers and a few deep small coins, yet I know the beach was packed the two days before. Moved in to the reserve and found 2 silvers and a button straight away. Happiness. :-)
